My display is not working2021-04-21T12:15:36+01:00

I accidentally pressed Ctrl + Alt + F8 on a computer running Windows 10. The CPU is hooked up to a monitor and a smartboard. When I pressed this combination, I lost display on both the monitor and the smartboard, and I can’t get either back. My tech support tried many things, including unplugging the monitor. When he unplugged the monitor, I got display back on the smartboard. Does anyone know how I can get my display back on both screens?

Press <Windows logo> + P and then an arrow key and then Enter. Keep doing this (using the same arrow key) until you get what you want.

EDIT: forgot to say, you’ll need to do this no more than three times, as there are only 4 choices.

To confirm, both displays go black if the monitor is reconnected?

Do you know what connections you are using? (VGA, HDMI, etc)
